Kay Grothusen lives and works in Berlin.  Besides working in the dance field is a qualified carpenter and co-founder of Ponderosa e.V. 1997, BA in choreography at SNDO, Amsterdam, since then he works as a choreographer and performer throughout Europe.

He enjoys working with Martin Nachbar, Felix Marchand, Ajara Hernández, Stephanie Maher, Eva Meyer-Keller and Carlos Pez. Recently he is doing an MA in dance science.
